FEES AT CFOS
Each charitable fund established at the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan is charged an Administrative Fee and an Investment Management Fee.
ADMINISTRATIVE FEE:
The following fee schedule has been in place since inception of The Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan in 1999 and remains effective:
FOR:
- DESIGNATED FUNDS
- DONOR ADVISED FUNDS
- FIELD OF INTEREST FUNDS
- ORGANIZATIONAL (AGENCY) ENDOWMENT FUNDS
- SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS
The annual fee charged is 1% based on an average daily balance as of the last day of each calendar quarter. The fee is charged to each fund at a rate of ¼% of 1% on the last day of each calendar quarter.
2% based on highest period amount
Please note:
The minimum annual fee for ALL funds listed above is $100/year or $25/quarter.
Additional Note:
Effective 3/15/06, all funds will be charged an additional fee of $75/hour for work that is over and above normal work for that type of fund. (For example: fundraising events such as golf outings and dinner dances that require significant administrative work in the acknowledgement of gifts and in the accounting and processing of gifts.)
INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT FEE:
Hudson Valley Investment Advisors, Inc. charges the Community Foundation a discounted rate to manage the investment portfolio. This fee is passed along to each donor fund at a pro-rated rate.
.85% on first $1 million
.75% on next $2 million
.50% on the balance
The investment management fee is calculated on the average daily balance as of the last day of each calendar quarter. |
